Film Brief #11

I finished writing my new revised script and it is absolutely fantastic, the film is hilarious, will utilize many different camera angles, and is probably my magnum opus. I don't want to rush to any conclusions, but this film is easily as good as every Godfather movie combined, it is a true masterpiece. The movie will follow my character documenting their pandemic life during a zombie pandemic, as well as following his interactions and eventual death with a zombie outside of his house. The film will be far easier to film, and since I am acting in almost all of it I will have more input and control over when it is filmed and how it turns out. One main issue with this script so far is the ending, since although I think it's perhaps the best part of the opening it leaves the plot of the brief pretty closed. I intend for the scene to be an introduction which does not relate to the main conflict of the movie - almost like a cold open - but sets up the general setting and plot and sets the tone of the film. I'm not sure how to convey to the audience, and more importantly whoever will grade my film, that the movie is meant to continue after the final scene and that it isn't a short film with a beginning and end.
